Baby Watch Day 2: Storks throughout time….

Stork 1 - Here is the traditional stork carrying our sweet baby Andie to us... hopefully sooner rather than later!

So yesterday, Day 2, was quite uneventful.  A beautiful day in Seattle.  Sun shining.  Seattle’s occasionally spot-on stereotype of the depressed grey outlook was not reinforced.  Good times were seemingly had by all.  Except, still no baby.  I can already see Andie’s little personality forming through this waiting game.  “Do you think she’s doing this on purpose?”  – Maggie askes this or some derivation of this question with stunning frequency.   Almost as frequently as the incessant questions surrounding Andie’s arrival from our dear friends and family…

Andie’s desire to stay in the womb (and really who occasionally wouldn’t want to crawl back into the womb now and again), could easily be a combination of stubbornness (her Mother), and a desire to not appear too eager to conform to others (her Father).  Andie is a lone wolf in there, and I think she’s pretty content to be a “maverick” – just like John McCain.

Needless to say, this idea of blogging about baby watch isn’t going to be very interesting until something interesting happens… thanks Andie.

Stork 2, if our stork delivers this type of stork, then Maggie will have some 'splainin' to do...

Stork 3 - this stork is delivering what could be construed as a delicious tragedy...
