Today’s Seattle Times had a touching article about Seattle’s renowned Colagurcio “family” and the malicious attempts by Seattle’s law and tax enforcement people to prevent them from providing the valuable services they have given our community for over 50 years – affordable “handies” and ample parking.
I had the pleasure (seriously no pun intended) of meeting the Jr. member of the “family” once on a sales call for IAC. In my previous incarnation as the operations person for our online entertainment calendar in San Francisco, the gentleman’s club’s had been great advertising partners (e.g. – they always spent a fair amount of money, didn’t really over-analyze results, and actually paid their bills on time). As such, I was eager to show my new bosses how they were wrong to not want to “get-in-bed-with” (pun intended) the proprietors of Rick’s, Sugar’s and Talents West. What I soon learned was that Colagurcio enterprises operated on a significantly diffe
